Agronomy is a very important tool for humanity, the food we consume daily depends on it.  Nowadays, the agronomy career focuses on the optimization of production processes, increasingly reducing the resources necessary to produce and obtaining greater productivity, this is thanks to the fact that the different components of the production system have been studied, which has allowed its full understanding and with this to be able to optimize it, but there is still a long way to go, it can still be improved in many aspects, especially those that compromise the environment, we have not yet found a way to produce without causing damage to the nature, which later has repercussions on our lifestyle and on the living beings that surround us, although we have found several alternatives, the problem with this is that they do not meet the current demand of humanity, but I am confident that one day we will find the way to produce what we need and be able to live in balance with nature ...

Chueco!

  Hello everyone, I wanted to share with you this photo that I took some time ago, this photograph was taken in the summer of 2016, I took this photograph while doing a professional internship in the "Lago Cochrane" national reserve, my work during my stay in Cochrane It was the sight of the Huemules to later carry out a population cadastre in the reserve, this animal is in danger of extinction mainly due to the loss of its natural habitat and illegal hunting, the Huemul is part of our national shield so every year they are made efforts to maintain stable populations of these specimens. This photo brings back many memories because it is the first Huemul I have ever seen, we named it "Chueco" because of its bent horn, a few days after the first sighting it let me get closer to take this picture, I feel really lucky, because, The Huemul is a very rare animal to see and even rarer is that it lets you get close to it

My favourite piece of technology

 Technology is everywhere these days, I have many pieces of technology that I like and it's hard to choose a favorite, but I think the one I like the most is my cell phone,  to buy it i had to work and save for a while but it was worth it This invention has definitely changed the lives of many people around the world, its usefulness is great, it has allowed us to connect with relatives who are many kilometers away or work anywhere you are, in addition to entertaining you in your moments of leisure. leisure, definitely the cell phone is one of the most important inventions of humanity and many people cannot imagine their life without it, including me, since I often use it to do work for the university, there is a phrase that I like about it cell phone: "all the knowledge of humanity at your fingertips"

My experience

When i was a child, i use to dream of being a Rock Star, but i don't have any musical skill,that's why I preferred to look for something that I was good at After finish my secundary education, i chose veterinary medicine but my dad told me not to leave Santiago to study veterinary medicine and if I didn't like agronomy more, he thought I would do better studying something more mathematical and my dad was right, years later I dropped out of veterinary medicine and i enter to study agronomy at the Universidad de Chile,  I think I'm better here, it suits my attitudes more. I think that the time that I was studying veterinary medicine was not in vain and that with the acquaintances that I acquire in agronomy they will help me to achieve my goals and be able to work in the fields farming and raising animals or something similar

How am i

Hi, My name is Tomás Faundez, i'm from La Pintana and i am 29 years old. I'm student from Ingeniería Agronomica but before i studied Medicina Veterinaria in the Universidad de Concepción, Chillan, i lived in Chillan for a few years, but i'm originally from Santiago. I live with my parents and brother, i have 1 little brother and 2 sisters, they are older than me. I have 3 pets too, 1 dog y and 2 Cats, i like the animals so much and nature in general.  In my free time i like to stay time with my pets and friends, i like the Field work too, that's why i study this university careers, I dream of living in the country with many animals and surrounded by nature
